Christmas Thank You’s

Hi, Guys!!
Happy Wednesday!!  I hope you have all enjoyed your Wednesday so far.  I really hope everyone had a great Christmas and got everything they wished for.  Ours was great, we had lots of families around and lots of presents and food everywhere.  We have 3 rounds of Christmas on Christmas day.  One at home first thing in the morning, then we head over to my in-laws who live like 2 minutes away, then we come back home and my parents and Brother and sister-in-law come over and have round three.  By the end of the day, my husband and I are always exhausted.  My 12-year-old had received a goofy pair of glasses and who knew they would be a hit.  He wore them all day Christmas

The big present for my boys was a gaming computer.  They had been wanting one for a very long time and I have been saving for one.   I do not know much about computers so my brother helped me build one.  He is my go to electronics guy, he knows a lot and he built the kids computer for them.  They were very excited and had no clue they would get one for Christmas.
I was finally able to get a video done on a cute little Thank you card I made.  The kids need to start making their thank yous from all the thoughtful people who gave them presents.  I used my new stamp set from Stampin’ Up that I did not buy.  Yes, I typed that correctly I did not buy it.  Stampin’ Up is starting Sale-A-Bration on January 4, but because I am a demonstrator I actually was able to start taking advantage of this as of December 1.  When you spend $50 before tax and shipping, you will get to pick a free item out of the Sale-A-Bration catalog and this is going on til March 31, 2017. There is also a new mini catalog out called Occasions which has some pretty cool items in it.  If you would like any of these catalogs, let me know and I will get them right in the mail to you.  Click on the link above to request a catalog.

These are the cards I made with left over Christmas paper I had.  These are 5×7 cards and the Thank you is embossed with Gold embossing powder.  Here is a list of items I used

The So Very Much Stamp Set is not available til January 4th, in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  It’s such a great time to order with the promotion going on and it’s also a great time to be a demonstrator.  Remember Guys when you order from me you will receive a special little something from me in the mail.  I also just got all the goodies in the mail for my first customer.  She is going to receive an awesome package of goodies for ordering from me.  I will post pictures once she has received her goodies.  I will leave you guys with my link to my video making this Thank you Card.  Happy Wednesday!!

Christmas Goodie Bags

Hi, Guys!
Happy Thursday!!  I hope everyone has enjoyed their Thursday!  I know I did.  My kids are still in school with Tomorow being a half day so I was able to go out to lunch today with my Best friend.  We had to catch up, its been a while since our last get together.
My boys are so super excited for Christmas.  My little guy asked me last night if he could borrow some of my supplies to make Christmas cards for all his classmates.  How cute and so proud I felt of him.  He was making his cards while I was working on 55 goodie bags for his and his brother’s classmates.

These goodie bags were pretty simple.  I usually put more detail on them.  I was running out of time and I figure they just rip them open anyways.  I also made a bunch of Christmas cards for teachers and bus drivers.

I just love how these turned out.  So simple but so elegant looking.  You guys know how I feel about the Stitched Shape Framelits..lol.  These are my favorite Framelits I have purchased through Stampin Up and they are still unavailable to order but it looks like they will be available around the 18th of January.  I also have a few new stamp sets from the new occasion and Sale-A-Bration catalog that I have yet to play with.  I cant wait to make some things with these.  I have also used Greetings from Santa Stamp Set ALOT this season.  I really loved this one.  This one is on sale right now too and only available through January 3, 2017, so if you like it you should get it while you can.

I had plans to make some homemade gifts for all the girls that I take POUND class with and I’m so bummed out I just ran out of time.  Oh well, thats life I guess.  I hope you guys all have a great rest of your day.  Try not to get caught up in the stress that the holidays can bring.  Don’t forget to take some time for you I know that’s easier said than done.  I am going to get myself a planner for the upcoming year and start scheduling things.  I think it will make me a more productive person.  I will let you guys know how that works for me.  Happy Thursday!!!!

Another Gift Card Holder

Hi, Guys,
Happy Sunday!!  I hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend.  I know I have and also can not believe that Christmas is almost here.  Every year I always have such funny idea’s in my head how Christmas is suppose to be.  I always envision my house always spotless, Lifetime Christmas movies playing, with wine and wrapping presents next to the fireplace.  My children never fighting and my husband never making a mess.  Hahahaha I am delusional.
When all is said and done the most important is that your family is altogether on the holiday and you get to enjoy each others company.  That’s my favorite part!
I was able to craft today and made another gift card holder.  This one is more of a tag you can hang on your tree.  I know my mother in law gives out a lot of gift cards and she has envelopes hanging on the tree.  These looks so much cuter!!

I used This Christmas Designer Series Specialty Paper, Whisper White Cardstock, Very Vanilla cardstock, Cherry Cobbler and Cucumber Crush ink pads, Oh, What Fun stamp set, Wild Wasabi Ribbon, Hole Puncher, and Snail adhesive.

Happy Sunday!!

One week til Christmas

Hi, Guys,
Happy Saturday!! I can not believe it has been almost a week since my last blog entry.  Oh, my I have been so busy and so many things have happened.  I have not had anytime really to craft.  I managed to get my Christmas Cards all done and mailed out last Wednesday.  I love making Christmas Cards, and I always say I will start them early and get them done.  Ha, That’s funny I have yet to make that one happen.  I received my Stamp Set in the mail from Thefancystamper and can not wait to play with it.  It is from the Occasions Catalog that you can order from on January 4th, 2017.  Thefancystamper is a Stampin Up Demonstrator like me so she could give it to me early.  That’s one of the many benefits of becoming a Demonstrator.  We were able to order from the Occasions Catalog December 1.  During January 4th, through March 31 for every $50 spent you get to pick a free item in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  There are some pretty awesome things in both Catalogs.
I finally received my first actual customer last Thursday night.  I was at my sons’ concert and before the concert started I received the email that an order was placed and for once it was not me that made the order.  Yay so excited.  I have ordered her goodies that I will be giving to her as a huge Thank you for ordering and all your support.  I ordered a few things that will coordinate with what she ordered.  I have so many ideas for 2017 and hopefully, I can get a set group of crafters and non-crafters together and just have some fun once a month.
I also have over 100 youtube subscribers so yay to that too, and I am picking up a few facebook followers every so often too.  I am so encouraged with all the support I have been receiving.  Maybe I will pick up some more blog follows too.  Thank you guys for all your support.
So I hope to get some crafting done this upcoming week before Christmas.  I need to make another video soon, like tomorrow soon, lol.  I made this Christmas Ornament last year for my POUND instructor.  I love making these ornaments, I made a video on how to make these so easy and fun.

I also made these hot cocoa goodie bags for my kids class mates.  So Cute!!!

I hope to create something tomorrow and hopefully a video too.  This has been the first weekend is forever that we have not had something going on.  Today was a house cleaning day and putting laundry away.  My craft room is still a disaster but after the holidays I hope to do a deep clean.  I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your Saturday.  Happy Saturday!!!

Making Christmas Cards

Hi, Guys,
Happy Monday!!  Did everyone enjoy their Monday?  We had about 6 inches of snowfall overnight and my boys had a 2-hour delay for school.  They were a little excited but disappointed they did not get the whole day off.  Mom is excited they didn’t get the whole day off.  I spent the morning digging out.  My husband bought me a Snowblower a few years ago.  Yes, I did type that right.  He has a very demanding job at times and I end up doing a lot of the manly things around the house.  So I always complained about shoveling and one black Friday while I was shopping he did a little shopping of his own and bought me a snowblower.  lol, I was thrilled.
After digging out and doing a few things around the house I started making my Christmas Cards.  I made a few

I love how different they each are.  If I had enough time I would probably make the top one but It is very detailed and I have about 30 cards to make so I’m gonna go with the bottom card.  It was fairly easy and I used my Cricut machine to cut the Red oval out.  I used Hang Your Stockings stamp set and dies.

I also used This Christmas Designer Speciality Paper and This Christmas Cardstock

(order here)

(order here)
Stitched Shaped Framelits were also used I used the largest Oval and the second smallest too . These are currently unavailable but they should be available soon.  I also used White embossing powder and some red embossing powder I had on hand.
(order here)
I used Greetings From Santa Stamp set too and Metallic Enamel Shapes, and Subtles Enamel Shapes.  I used Three different Ink Pads, Tip Top Taupe, Garden Green, and Cherry Cobbler.

I think I’m going with the last card as my Christmas card this year.  It is easy and so pretty.  I am running out of time and need to get these done and out in the mail.  I hope to get them all finished and in the mail by Wednesday.  We will see how that works out lol.  Well, I hope you guys enjoyed your day.  Happy Monday!!!

I bit off more than I can manage!!

Hi, Guys,
Happy Sunday!!  I hope everyone has enjoyed their Sunday.  It was cold today and we were busy all day.  We had a birthday party/Christmas party to attend.  When we got home after doing some housework and hanging with the kids it’s night already.  It seems like the days fly by.  I really had a lot of ambition and really thought I could pull off this 24 Crafts of Christmas.  What Was I Thinking??? lol
It was really starting to stress me out wondering what I would make and as its getting closer to Christmas I am realizing just how much I still need to get done around here.  So I will post as often as I can with any Crafts I can get done.  I still need to make my Christmas Cards to mail out.  YIKES.
I am so tired and just need some down time so I am going to crash and watch some Walking Dead with the husband.

Day 10 of the 24 Crafts of Christmas

Hi, Guys,
Happy Saturday!!  I hope everyone has enjoyed their Saturday.  I was very busy today.  I finally made it to POUND class this morning.  I missed it so much and it felt really good to be back at it.  In another month the gym will be packed and it will be crazy.  I have been going to the gym for a year and 1/2 now.  It’s called Retro Fitness and what lured me to this gym is that it’s $20 a month, a $40 fee once a year and unlimited classes.  You can not beat that.  I use to take Zumba and it was $7 to $10 a class.  I could not afford that.  I dont like working on the machines so I just go for classes.  I take POUND 5 to 6 days a week.
So I was able to make a gift card holder today it was super simple and cute.

I used This christmas paper from Stampin’ Up, It turned out so cute.  I also made a video showing how I put it all together.

I am struggling to keep my eyes open so I must go.  I hope you enjoyed the video.  Happy Saturday!!!!

Day 9 of the 24 Crafts of Christmas

Hi, Guys,
Happy Friday!! I can not believe it is Friday already! I hope you guys have been enjoying your day! I finally was able to get my hair cut today.  My hair dresser retired so I have been looking for someone and I think I finally found her.  I loved her energy and so positive.  It was really starting to drive me crazy with my hair being longer.  I like it to be around the top of my shoulders and when it gets longer it gets heavy in my pony tail.  I love to wear my hair in a pony tail all the time.
So I have told you guys how much I love my Stampin’ Up team in the past.  We have such a great group who support each other.  Well I follow another demonstrators blog which is http://thefancystamper.blogspot.com/ and she is super nice.  I am trying to help her with a follow and I have been commenting on some of her posts.  Well I didnt realize one of the post I comentted on she was giving away a Stampin Up stamp set.  I really didnt want to win cause I figured that is a good way to pick up a new customer.  After messaging her back and forth she insisted on giving me the freeby.  So that was awesome and super nice of her, I was having such a “one of those kind of days”.  So if you guys get a chance to check her out and follow her blog too.  This is why I am so glad I joined Stampin’ Up and especially this team.
I also forgot to tell you guys I picked a winner on my youtube giveaway.  You guys were to coment on the giveaway video and I would randomly pick a winner.  Three people commented so I decided to give all three a prize.  They should of received their packages by today so hopefully they enjoy it.
I also did a quick craft today.  This is great for a movie bucket.  I took a package of popcorn

and instead of putting it in your movie bucket plain, you can wrap it to give it that little something extra.  I love details and I think the details with something makes a hugh difference.

I used This Christmas Designer Series Specialty Paper (order here), Cherry Cobbler Card Stock (order here), Very Vanilla Card Stock (order here), Cherry Cobbler Ink Pad (order here), Hang Your Stockings Stamp Set (order here), Stitched Shape Framelits (currently unavailable), Layering Circle Framelits which are currently on sale for $17.50 regularly $35.00 (order here) and snail adhesive (order here).  I cut my This Christmas paper 7 by 8 and just wrapped it around the popcorn bag.  I used some snail adhesive to glue it down.  I then used the third largest circle framelit and the second smallest stitched framelit.  These would look so cute in a popcorn basket.  You could also wrap the box candy you can get in a movie theather, walmart sells these for 98 cents.  You could have everything match, it would look so awesome.
Well I hope you enjoyed the craft today.  This 24 days of crafts are keeping me on my toes.  So far so good, lol.  I am hoping to get back to my POUND class tomorow at the gym.  I have not been to class in a week and 1/2 and its making me crazy.  If you never heard of  POUND, google it, it is so much fun and makes you feel like a super awesome rockstar.  I hope to try to tidy up my craft room a bit too and provide you guys with a new craft tomorow.  Happy Friday!!!

Day 8 of the 24 Crafts of Christmas

Hi, Guys,

Happy Thursday!  I hope everyone has been enjoying their Thursday.  I can not believe the weekend is almost here.  I had a busy day today, I was able to get my grocery shopping done.  I am so lucky to be a stay at home mom.  I love my boys but it is awful taking them grocery shopping.  First off they are boys and they hate shopping unless it involves video games.  Secondly, we all know that we end up with way more stuff in our cart and thirdly your mind becomes mush and you can not follow your list, and forget all the coupons.  So I do enjoy that I can do my grocery shopping alone.
I also want to say to all you working moms out there I don’t know how you manage work and family life.  I seem to never have enough time in the day to get done what I need too.  My house seems to never be clean and laundry is almost never caught up.  My craft room is a disaster right now.  You guys are lucky I only shoot my videos in a small area of my craft room.

I’m in need of some serious cleaning!!  I was able to clean off a spot on my desk and work on a quick card.  It’s a Thank you card.  What a cute little card to send out to everyone who thought of you at Christmas.
I used scraps of my Christmas paper that are no longer available through stampin’ up.  You can use any paper you have.  The card is measured at 4 by 4, the designer paper was cut at 3 3/4 by 2, and the white was cut at 1 by 2.  I used Tin of Cards stamp set (order here) for the Thanks and I recently purchased the Greetings From stamp set.  It is currently in the close out sale and it’s only $6.98 WOW!  Here is a picture of the stamp set.(order here)  It’s cute.
I used the pine trees and I used Garden Green to stamp it out and I used Old Olive to color them.  I used my blender pens to color the Old Olive. You can also purchase the Old Olive marker to color them in too.   Snail Adhesive was also used.  I hope you guys like the card.  Happy Thursday!!!

Day 7 of the 24 Crafts of Christmas

Hi, Guys,
Happy Wednesday!!  I hope everyone had a fantastic Wednesday.  It was a dreary day here but so glad it was raining most of the day instead of snow.  Upstate NY winters can be pretty brutal sometimes and so far we have not had much snow.  I was able to get a bunch done today although it never feels like enough.  I finished putting up the inside Christmas decorations and then put all 9 large empty totes in the attic.  I always say we have too many Christmas decorations each year but then I always buy new ones before and after Christmas to add to the madness. lol, I was able to make a Christmas Card today.  It was pretty easy to make you just need some buttons.

It is cute but is pretty heavy.  I wouldn’t recommend sending out in the mail I think the postage would be frightening.  It would be a good card to go with a gift you would hand someone.  I used hot glue to glue the buttons down.  You could use any kind of glue as long as it was a strong glue.  I had my glue gun out because I was helping my 8-year-old with his school project.  One tip I learned a while back if you do not know this already is when you are done using a glue gun on your projects, take a hair dryer on low heat over your project and it will melt all the annoying loose strands of glue dangling everywhere.  I watched someone do this on a youtube video.  I could not believe I never thought of something like this.  I have a hard time creating on my own, I can take an idea and put my own spin on it.
Another tip I have for you that I found on Pinterest is if you have a lot of buttons you can store them in a spice rack, you can separate by colors this way too.  I found a spice rack in a free box at a garage sale, it was missing a bottle but it works for me.

I also used the Merry Christmas sentiment from Greetings from Santa Stamp Set, and it’s currently on sale (order here) and I used the ink pad Real Red (order here)
Don’t forget to use my hostess code 3TAGWDKE for any orders under $150 and you will get a little something from me in the mail.  I am so happy I made this decision to become a Stampin’ Up demonstrator.  I still have no customers but eventually, someone will order from me and it will be one of the best decisions they could make.  I love my Team leader she is so super helpful and I am part of a wonderful team.  The girls are all so supportive and helpful, it’s such a great group.  We all support each other.  My Team leader lives in Utah and I am in NY so I was really concerned that I would not get the support I need but that is not true at all.  If you ever thought about being a demonstrator you really should do it.  If you sign up under me you get access to our Team too.  Not to mention you will get goodies from me and my Leader.  If you ever have any questions just contact me and I would be more than happy to help.  I really hope you guys enjoy my crafts and enjoy following me.
Happy Wednesday!!
