Hi, Guys!!

Happy Friday!!  How was your day today?  I hope everyone had a great day today.  I am starting to get back into a routine now that the kids are back in school.  I really didn’t craft much this week, and I had all these plans to craft and post video’s all week.  Wishful thinking I guess.

Our weather has been so muggy and hot these last few days.  During summer we had terrible weather and now I am looking forward to the warmer, crisper days of Autumn and we are having a heat wave.  The weather has been so crazy all over.  I did make a beautiful card today.  I am trying to get into the fall mood and decided to take the solid leaf stamps from Colorful Seasons Stamp Set and do the baby wipe technique.

I love, love, love this card and it is so much prettier in person.  I used Pumpkin Pie cardstock for the A2 base.  I then cut a piece of Whisper White at 5 by 3 3/4.  I used this to stamp the leaves on.  I did the baby wipe technique which is so simple.  You take a baby wipe (any kind) and fold it in half.  Put the baby wipe in a container ( I used an old To go container) Then take your re-inkers.  I used Real Red, Garden Green, Tangerine Tango, and Crushed Curry and spread the colors all over the baby wipe.  I took the solid leaf stamps and first stamped in the versa mark then stamped onto the baby wipe, picked up some ink and then stamped it on the whisper white cardstock.  Once I had enough leaves on my whisper white I then took clear emboss powder and spread it all over the leaves.  I then heated the embossing powder and it left a textured feel to the leaves.  I love how they turned out.  You guys need to try it and you will love it so much.

I then used the Gourd Goodness Stamp set and stamped the pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight on whisper white.  The stems were inked with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede.  I used the layering Circle Framelits to cut out the pumpkins.  I count them from the smallest to largest so I used the 7th circle and the 7th scalloped framelit to cut Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  I used snail adhesive to glue them together.  I also took the pumpkin pie inkpad and inked the edges of the circle.    I then took a sticky note and placed it near the top of the largest pumpkin.  I used Merry Cafe stamp set and took the sentiment Hello Fall it’s pumpkin spice latte season.  I used basic black and stamped only the Hello Fall on the pumpkins and the rest of the sentiment stamped on the sticky note.  I then glued the whisper white with the leaves on it to the front of the Pumpkin Pie A2 card base.  I used Stampin Dimensionals to pop the pumpkins up on the front of the card.  So simple and the leaves are so awesome.  I love the Gourd Goodness stamp set too.  The pumpkins look so real.  Here is the video I made for this for my 5-minute Friday.

Happy Friday!!
