Hi, Guys,
Happy Wednesday!!!  How are you guys?  I am doing much better.  Last week my husband and oldest son had the stomach bug at the begging of the week.  I thought I would not get it and then Thursday night I ended up with it.  It lasted about 3 days and by Sunday I was feeling better.  Then my youngest did not feel well all day Sunday.  He kept complaining his throat hurt.  That night he said his ears hurt and by morning he could barely talk.  It sounded like he had marbles in his mouth and he kept saying his throat hurt.  I kept him home from school and took him to the doctor.  He had come back positive with strep throat.  So he is finally feeling better to go back to school tomorrow.  We had lots of snuggles over the last three days.  I love snuggles and I know that they are slowly leaving me.  That is the hardest part of having kids is that they grow up.
I made a shaker card today and its so cute.

I put sand in it and some of the sprinkle embellishments.  I love it.  I also made a video on how I made it and I will leave that video at the end of this post.
I used the stamp set Seaside Shore from the annual catalog.  I love this set it reminds me of summer and I can not wait till it is Summer time.  I also used some of the colors that are retiring in the In Color Collection 2015-2017.  Do you have these colors?  If not you will want to get them soon before you can no longer get them.
I am also getting ready for my Card Class this Saturday.  I can’t wait to get together with friends and create some cards.  I have some special things lined up for everyone who is coming.  I am kinda excited too because a mom is bringing her 8-year-old daughter.  She loves crafting and I love when kids want to craft.  I will be sure to take lots of pictures.
I hope you guys can get some crafting done it sure is such great therapy.  Do you guys know about Paper Pumpkin?  If not it is a fun little box that comes right to your door each month.  It is filled with a craft of the month and is only $20.00 plus tax.  You can sign up at any time and for any length.  If you only want it one month you just cancel and can sign up again at any time.  It’s really easy no hassling you if you decide not to keep getting the box each month.  The CEO of Stampin’ Up! designed this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit.  It even has a sneak peek of one of the new ink colors coming up.  You need to sign up by April 10th to get this Months special Paper Pumpkin.  Click on my link here to purchase this months kit.  Happy Wednesday!!!

  1. Hi Chris,
I sure hope you and your family are on the mends from being sick. It is so sad when kiddos get sick and they are so miserable, but the snuggles are priceless!!!!!
Your shaker card is so adorable!!! I like that you combined sand and some embellishments!!!…. and what great colors you used for this card.
I definitely agree that crafting is therapy!! Hoping to get some crafting therapy done ASAP!!!!! 🙂

  2. Thank You!! It feels like we have been sick since January. Hopefully with the nicer weather coming the germs will stay away, I cant wait til I can open my windows and let the fresh air circulate. I guess I will take my snuggles where I can because they are getting less and less nowadays 🙁
I love this Shaker Card and I think I have the hang of the Shaker Card now.
I hope you find time for crafting soon, I am thankful for becoming a Stampin Up Demonstrator because it has forced me to craft more 🙂
Thank you for your comment sometimes I feel like I am talking to myself on here LOL 🙂
