Hi, Guys!!!
Happy Thursday!!  I hope everyone’s day is going well.  The weather here was very cold and snowy.  I am so done with winter. I miss 80-degree temperatures and flip flops so much.  I miss my pool and lazy summer days with the kids.  I do really love my pellet stove right now, though.
I finally got around to making a floating card.  I saw a video on YouTube a while back and knew I wanted to make one.  Then when the occasions catalog came out I fell in love with Lift Me Up and I knew that was the one I wanted to make a floating card with.  Here is a picture of the cards I made.

Love it so much.  As I was making this card I realized what an improvement in my quality of cards since I became a Stampin Up Demonstrator and have been using Stampin Up products.  I think the biggest WoW factor has been the coordination of everything.  I mean the quality of the paper has been a factor too but I have been making cards for many years with craft store products.  I always thought they were great, and they really were, but now they are top notch.
Here is a list of all the products I used to make this card.  Everything was from Stampin Up except for the fishing line I used to make the Hot Air Balloon float.

  1. Chris, those cards are so cute!! Your video was pretty good, I felt like I could do the project at the end so that is a WIN! You should totally do this card for a swap!! I've never seen this type before. 🙂
I also like how I didn't have to click on a link because your video was on your blog. That was super nice. I think I need to try my hand at the floating card for Easter!! 🙂

  2. Thanks, Deb!! You could totally make this, its so easy!!! Thank you for the feedback on my video. I hardly get any feedback so I hope people are learning from them.
That was one thing I really liked when looking at other blogs before I started mine. I liked the blog where everything was right there. I lose interest quickly if I cant find something I want. So I wanted everything right handy.
I need to get in on the next swap!!
