Occasion is winding down

Hi Guys!!

Happy Wednesday!!  How is everyone today?  I hope your day is going great!  I have been very busy these past few months.  My boys are keeping me busy and I have been trying to get as much crafting in as possible.

So I have been working hard with my team.  I love that I have a team of Demonstrators and we can bounce ideas off each other and help each other.  I love building relationships and crafting with others.  So I have a training facebook page with lots of information and support, and all my team members know they can contact me anytime with any questions ever!!  I would love to have you as part of our team.  If you want to join my team click here, and if you would like a little more information click here.

Did you know there are only about 10 days left of the Occasion catalog and Saleabration?  Have you bought all your goodies you want?  I did a lot of shopping and have some incredible products.  I have been busy making cards and mailing them out to people.  Here is a couple of cards I have made recently.

This is just a couple of my latest cards.  These were made with Saleabration items.  The top card I used the Saleabration items, Heartfelt Blooms stamp set, the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper, and the Shimmer Ribbon Pack.  I used Berry Burst ink to stamp the flower and Berry Burst Cardstock behind to really make it pop.  The second card I used the Shimmer Ribbon Pack, Amazing You Stamp Set, and the Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I used Peekaboo Peach to ink the inside of the Cable Knit folder and ran it through the big shot.  It left such a pretty subtle imprint on the cardstock.  I then used Peekaboo Peach cardstock for the cardbase and added Silver foil paper behind the whisper white circle.  I stamped let’s Celebrate in Versamark ink then Peekaboo Peach ink and then used clear embossing powder.  I love how everything ties together and matches.   If you want to shop for these items shop here.

Well, I hope you guys get shopping because there are not many days left to get your Occasion and Saleabration items.

Happy Wednesday!

Z Fold Card

Hi Guys!!

Happy Thursday!!  How has your day been going?  I hope you have had a great day.  It was a pretty busy day here.  I went grocery shopping and had a bunch of errands to run.  Then my youngest had his first violin concert tonight.  It was so cute listening to a bunch of 4th graders in orchestra and band.  They are all so proud and excited to play for everyone.  It’s so great to see how excited my son is to play his instruments.  He also takes piano lessons once a week after school.  He loves the piano too.  I hope his enthusiasm for his instruments continues over the years.

So I finally uploaded the video to the Z fold card I made yesterday.  You guys are going to love it!  You won’t believe how easy it is to make.  I would love to see what you guys create.  I used an older set from last Occasions.  Its still one of my favorite sets.  It called Lift Me Up and I know a lot of my customers have purchased this one.  Here’s a picture of the card again

This card is so cute!!  I love how the balloons float over the clouds and the clouds are floating.  It’s one of my favorites!  I am mailing this one out to my niece and I know she will love it.

Have you guys been shopping and earning your free items during Occasions?  I love shopping this time of year at Stampin Up.  Well, who am I kidding I love shopping anytime but if you shop now through March 31, 2018, you earn free items.  If you spend $50 or more you earn free stuff and you also will qualify for my Card Club and receive a free kit from me in the mail.  So here are all the items you can earn for free when spending $50

Stampin Up is also offering two products when you spend $100.  Here are those items:

There is no limit to the number of items you can get for free.  So take advantages of this time to get those free items.  Here is a link to my store

I am working on my 5-Minute Friday video so check my YouTube channel tomorrow for that one.  In the meantime here is my video on the Z fold card.

Happy Valentines Day

Hi Guys!!

Happy Wednesday and Happy Valentines Day!!  I hope you have had a great day!  I started the day with making my kids some pink heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast.  They complained about the color but gobbled them up.  I try to do something special for my boys on every holiday.  I ended up making 48 goodie bags for them and their classmates and 10 goodie bags for their teachers and bus drivers.

I used last years Sealed with a kiss and Sending Love paper on the kid’s goodie bags.  I love that set and that paper was my favorite.  I am just about out of it and thank goodness for some Demonstrator friends of mine who have some and are giving it to me.  I bought like 5 packs of that paper last year and I have used it all year.   The goodies that were made for the teachers and bus drivers I used this years Sure do Love You stamp set and Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies.  I love those Dies.  That box is so cute and I will be using that all year on things.  So I fit 8 square pieces of Dove candies inside and then I cut a heart out of the center of the box.  I made the box with Calypso Coral Cardstock and then layered it with the Sweet Soiree Designer Paper.  The hearts on the tags of the little bags are the Die cut heart.  I used the window sheets to cover the heart cut out and then I finished the box off with Powder Pink Love Mini Tinsel Trim.  I love that I can do this for my kids and their teachers.  I also love that my kids get excited when I tell them I will be making goodie bags for their class.

I ended up making a card and video today.  I love this card so much.  I used Lift Me Up and the matching framelits.  I still love this set.  It was released last year for Occasions and ended up in the Annual Catalog.  Here is a picture of the card

I know its so cute right?  The video needs to be edited and I will upload it sometime tomorrow.  You won’t believe how easy it is to make this!

Happy Wednesday!!!

Sure Do Love You Bundle

Heartfelt Blooms

Hi Guys!!!

Happy Friday!!!  I hope everyone is having a great Friday.  It is so nice to have another weekend upon us.  So what did you guys do today?  I hope something fun anyway.  I had to do our grocery shopping today.  That’s always so much fun.  We are getting some more snow tonight and tomorrow so the stores seemed a little busier than normal.  Everyone needed to get their bread, milk, and eggs.  Why does everyone want to make french toast during bad weather?  lol

Are you guys excited about the Olympics?  We love the Olympics in our house.  My kids are excited to watch.  We use to have our own Olympics in our house when the kids were small.  I would have them pick a Country and we would do a little research, and then we would have opening ceremonies and then play some sports inside.  It was a lot of fun.  They just watch the Olympics now.

I have been leaving hearts on my boys’ bedroom doors.  Since the start of February, I have cut a heart from the Lots to Love Framelits and wrote something that I love about each of them every day.  I will continue to do this until Valentine’s day.  My 9-year-old noticed right away and the teenager just noticed yesterday.  Lol, I tell them all the time what I love about them but I thought it would be fun for them to see it.

So I was able to make a card today.  I have been participating in Swaps with other Demonstrators the past few months and it so fun.  There are some incredibly talented people out there.  It’s fun to see the different Stampin Up products in use and to see the creativity of people.  So the theme of our swap this month is Green.  So this is the Card I am making for the swap.

I used the free stamp set Heartfelt Blooms to make this.  I remember seeing a similar card months ago using some other flower stamp set and knew when I received Heartfelt Blooms I wanted to try it.  So It’s perfect for our swap!!  I even made a video on how I made this and it’s part of my 5-Minute Friday series.  I will leave the link to the video at the end of this post.  I love how detailed this flower is in this set.  It is so beautiful.  All the measurements of this card are included in the video.  What do you guys think of this one?  Have you been getting your free items?  I hope you guys are getting what you want.

Happy Friday

Wish List

Hi Guys!!!

Happy Thursday!!  I hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday!!  Yesterday here in upstate NY we had a bit of a snowstorm.  We had maybe 8 inches of snow and the kids had a snow day.  They were excited to hang out and play video games all day.  I was not excited as I had to shovel and snowblow everything.  My oldest is still sick so he stayed inside but my youngest came outside to help.  That last all of 2 minutes before he decided he wanted to get his sled out and play.  To be young again.. lol

I am working on my kids Valentine goodie bags so as soon as they are done I will show you guys pictures.  I am using the Sure Do Love You stamp set to create these.  I love that set and the Lots to Love Framelits.

So do you guys have a wish list?  Is it always growing?  That’s how my list is.  In fact when I was a customer of Stampin Up my list was always so big.  It would be over $100 and then I finally smartened up and became a Demonstrator.  I was spending money every month anyway so why not get a discount.  I decided that the discount would benefit me more so I became a Demonstrator.  I didn’t want to sell at first but then shortly after signing up,  I thought why not share Stampin Up with everyone.  I love their products so much and want everyone to know all about Stampin Up!  It has to work for you though.  If you are ordering all the time then why not get that discount.  That is the great thing about Stampin Up there is NEVER any pressure to sell.  There are so many hobby Demonstrators out there and have been one for years.  So it has to be the right time for you.  If you order once every few months and your orders are small then being a Demonstrator sounds like it is not the right fit for you right now.  It has to work for you!!  If it works for you now then join… If not with me then anyone so you can start saving money.  In fact when you join for $99 you get $125 worth of product plus during Saleabration (through March 31, 2018) you also can pick 2 free current stamp sets from the Annual Catalog or the Occasions Catalog.  So get the most expensive ones if you want.  They are free!!   If you want to join with me I would love to have you as part of my team.  I have a lot of fun with my team and customers.  Sign up here if you are ready.  Maybe you have more questions?  Here is a little write up about why you would join my team. Click here if you would like to read it.  Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions you may have.  Here is my contact sheet

Happy Thursday!!!

Bubble Wrap and Brusho

Hi Guys!!

Happy Saturday!!  How are you guys doing today?  I hope everyone is doing something they love!!  I was able to do something I love and share it with friends today.  I had my card class for this month and it was so much fun.  I had a bunch of people cancel so I ended up with 2 ladies.  I decided to do something a bit more detailed with these ladies. They were up for the challenge and did so good.  We made 3 cards and they had a blast making them and learning different tips and techniques.  Here are the first 2 cards we did.

Then I introduced them to Brusho Crystal Colour and bubble wrap.  Have you guys ever used the Brusho?  I have never used it and when Stampin Up introduced it in the new Occasions Catalog I bought it.  I played with it and was not too impressed.  I figured out that I was not using it correctly and that was why I didn’t like it.  So after playing and experimenting with it and watching others I now LOVE it.  It is $30 for 5 jars of different colors.  It is very fine powder and it reminds me of a baby powder consistency.  There is a lot inside the little bottles and I do not see me buying any for a long time.  I think the average crafter will only need to purchase this once and it will last your lifetime.  It is currently on backorder but only till January 22.  Here is the card we did :

I know its fantastic right??  I absolutely love this technique with the Brusho.  The girls loved this one so much.  They were impressed on how easy it was to create.  This is why I love doing what I do.  To see their faces light up when they created this technique was awesome.  I am already thinking about my next class and I can not wait.  So I made a video on how to do this technique.  The card in the video is a little different.  I used Silver emboss instead of the gold and I used the Berry Burst 3/8″ (1 Cm) Metallic-Edge Ribbon instead of the Silver Baker’s Twine

What I love most about the Bubble Wrap Technique is that it will be different each time.  Depending on the colors used, the amount of water used, the paper used.  You can also use this technique with versa mark ink, ink refills, ink pads.  It’s so much fun.  I made a video on how to create this beautiful card.

Happy Saturday!!

Saleabration is here again!!!

Hi Guys!!

Happy Wednesday!  How are you guys doing today?  I hope all is well.  I am so excited that Saleabration time is here again!!!  Do you know about Saleabration?  It is my favorite time to shop at Stampin’ Up! (who am I kidding anytime is my favorite time).  For every $50 you spend you can receive free products.  Yes you are reading that correctly FREE!  So there is a new mini catalog out right now called Occasions (view here) and it has some pretty fabulous products inside.   I recently made this card

I love this card and I used the Southern Serenade Clear-Mount Stamp Set from the occasions catalog to make this card.  I also used the Stampin Blends to color the flowers in.  The card base is Very Vanilla and I layered Berry Burst and Whisper White.  I am not sure of the measurement on the Whisper white but the Berry Burst measures 5 1/4 by 4 and the Very Vanilla is an A2 size (5 1/2 x 4 1/4).  I also embossed with silver on the edge of the card using a stamp from the set.  I finished it off with the love mini tinsel trim tied in a bow and used a glue dot to secure it to the card.  I love how simple this card is and how pretty.

I want to challenge you guys this year to make more cards and send more cards out to people.  I did this last year and loved it so much.  It is such a good feeling to give a little happiness to someone.  You never know what that little handmade card of love can do to a person’s day.  I love creating and sharing with everyone.  So this year make more, send more.  I want to hear from you guys more this year.  I need to know what I can do to help your guys get more creative!!!
