Hi, Guys!!!! Happy Tuesday! How was your day? Can you believe this is the 3rd day in a row of blogging? I am so happy that I have found the time to blog. I finally made the video on the background tecnique that I learned from another Stampin Up Demonstrator. I love this technique its super fun. Here are a few of the cards that I have made so far using this technique.
I am having lots of fun with this technique. So awesome. I used lots of inks with this and it is a little messy but well worth it with this outcome. I love this stamp set too it’s so perfect with this background. I hope you guys have had some crafty time. I made a video showing how I made this card and I will leave that video at the end of this post. There is only 1 month left of Saleabration. I really hope you guys do some shopping to earn these super great products for free. There are so many awesome freebies and I will be showcasing them again this month. Don’t forget about my current Card Club and a new one will be coming out in March. It will be an easter card club, I’m so excited!! Here is the current video that I made. Happy Tuesday!!
Hi, Guys!!! Happy Monday!!! How was your Monday? Mine was fantastic. I was a little excited the kids went back to school today after a week long break. I loved having them home and we did a bunch of things but it was time for them to get back to school, cause mama needed her quiet time back. 😂 I got a lot of stuff around the house done and got my errands accomplished. I did not get much time in my craft room but I am hoping to spend most of tomorrow in it. I am on a kick cleaning it out lately. I was able to get a card done. It was done on the Stampin Up Note cards, and I used the love notes framelits to create it.
This idea came from another demonstrator and I thought it was cleaver how she used the heart die to make a shamrock. I used the new mint macaroon glimmer paper. I also used mint macaroon cardstock with Tasty Treats designer paper. The ribbon is retired wild wasabi but you could use any of the mint macaroon ribbons. I also used the free Delicate Details stamp set with mint macaroon ink. I stuck an enamel dot in the center of the shamrock and I actually put a glue dot on it for extra hold. I love how it turned out so super cute. I just wanted to pop in quickly and share my creation. Don’t forget about Saleabration. It is only a month longer and then you won’t be able to get any free items. There are some great free things. You need to spend $50 to earn a product from the saleabration catalog for free. There is no limit, so get your order in soon. You will also get my card club sent to you in the mail if you spend $32 or more, use my Host Code, leave your contact info and live within the US. All the details are at the top of my website. Happy Monday!!!!
Hi, Guys!!!!! Happy Sunday!! I hope you guys had a great day! It is the last day of break for my kids and they head back to school tomorrow. YAY!!!! I’m just kidding (kinda lol) I am hoping to get back to my schedule pretty quickly. My youngest son had his last basketball practice this Saturday. It is an hour and half long and when we were gone my crazy Chocolate Lab decided to tear up a whole roll of paper towels.
She is a little over Two years old and is still quite a handful. She is full of energy and it seems the more she burns off the more she seems to have lol. She is a sweet dog too and one of the best snuggling dogs ever. So I am so excited to finally announce a winner of the Hey Chick Stamp set. It is Scrappin Playground Of Dreams. YAY!! I only had 6 enter on all my social media sites and 5 left their email for a chance to win. The winner is actually a customer of mine so I was super excited that she won. She will love this set and have a blast with it I just know it. Her package will go in the mail tomorrow. Congrats!!! I have been slowly working on cleaning up my craft room and it’s taking forever. I have a lot of stuff and I need to just clean out. The more stuff I clear out the better I feel about being in my creative space. I am saving everything for a big garage sale this summer and then what I do not sell I will donate. While I was cleaning I had the live feed on for the Mama giraffe, April who is suppose to give birth any minute. I have been watching this darn giraffe since Wednesday and she still has not given birth. I love to watch her belly move though, just knowing it is her baby moving around getting ready to see the world. Here is the link if you guys want to watch. My February Card Club is almost over with. I am thinking about my next Card Club and cant wait to create it. I can’t say my Card Club has been successful because I did not send one Card Club out but oh well I have a feeling my Card Club will catch on and I will be mailing them out soon. I have a few more ideas up my sleeve and hopefully will roll those out shortly. Saleabration is only going on for one more month so please take advantage of this awesome sale. Click on my link at the top of my website to shop. Thank you guys for all your support and I hope you guys have a Happy Sunday!!!
Hi, Guys!!! Happy Friday!! How was your Friday? Mine was good. The kids have had the week off of school and we have been busy. It has been super nice outside for February. The temps have been in the 50 to 60 degrees. Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to be almost 70. It feels so good to have the windows open and my little guy has been playing outside in the driveway. He wants to play in the yard but it is so muddy and just yucky. The chores are falling behind but you know the kids are little for only so long. My 12-year-old doesn’t want to play outside and do all the little fun things anymore. So I will take advantage of any time my youngest wants to play with mom. I know he too will get older and not want to do the little kid things anymore. I have been trying to do a little crafting when I can, which is usually later at night when the kids are in bed. So I have not had time to work on a video yet. I still have my giveaway going on. No one hardly is entering the giveaways so this is going to be my last one for a very long time I think. I really wanted to give stuff away but no one wants to win, and it is very frustrating to get excited about something and then get deflated. I think I will use the rest of the products I have and give them away to my current customers. Here are some of the cards I have been working on.
I learned a new technique with the Card I made using High Tide stamp set. One of the demonstrators from my team did a video on how she did the background technique and it is so easy. I plan on doing a video for all you guys. It’s fun and all you need is sponges and inks. Very easy. There has also been a second release of Sale-A-Bration items. Three new items you can choose for free.
That Glimmer paper is so pretty and you really can’t tell from the picture how pretty it really is. I love those two new stamp sets too. These items are all free. Sale-A-Bration is still happening but only until March 31. You guys need to spend $50 to earn a free item. There is no limit so for every $50 spent you get a free item. Plus I have my card club going on and if you spent $32 pre-tax, pre-shipping you will get a free card kit in the mail from me. There are some rules to follow and all the details are at the top of my page. Here are some cards I made using these free items.
I really wish you could just see how pretty that glimmer paper is. You really need to put in an order and get it for free!!! 😀 I am having so much fun with all my new Stampin Up products. I love how easy it is to whip up such beautiful cards. I am working on my next card club for March. It’s an Easter theme one and I can’t wait to see what I come up with. lol I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your weekend and don’t forget to enter my latest giveaway to win. I will be closing it out shortly. Happy Friday!!
Hi, Guys, Happy Sunday!! How is your day going? Mine has been great. I started my day with a POUND class finally back at it. I missed it so much because I had been sick and life got in the way but I’m back at it. I was able to spend the afternoon in my craft room. My stress just melts away when I am able to create. So I have been playing around with Hey, Chick. I actually am giving this one away. Just leave a comment on this blog post along with your email so I have a way to reach you if you win.
Isn’t that set so cute!! You should enter to win, I’d love to see what you will create with it. Here are a few cards I made with this set.
I love these. The top card is kinda hard to see. I embossed the chickens on a piece of designer paper from Pops of Pink. I loved the way they embossed. I also used Pink Pirouette and Basic Black card stock. I used Melon Mambo ribbon for the x’s and a white gel pen for the stitching. The second card I used So Saffron for the card base and Affectionately Yours designer paper on both card 2 and 3. On card 2 I used a couple stamps from the High Tide set. I used the dirt stamp and the little grass stamp for the bottom and Melon Mambo ribbon. The last card I used my Oval Stitched Shaped Framelits on one of the Note Cards through Stampin Up. They measure 3 1/2 by 5. They are so perfect for little cards. I also use the Metalic Ribbon that is also free during Sale-A-Bration. This card was colored with the Stampin Up markers and the second card was colored with the Stampin Up Watercolor Pencils. I used the blender pens to blend the colors. I also made a spinner card with this set. I made a video on how to make a spinner card which is here.
Here are all the supplies used to make the cards pictured. Happy Sunday Guys and good luck on the giveaway!!!!
Hi, Guys!!! Happy Thursday!! I hope everyone’s day is going well. The weather here was very cold and snowy. I am so done with winter. I miss 80-degree temperatures and flip flops so much. I miss my pool and lazy summer days with the kids. I do really love my pellet stove right now, though. I finally got around to making a floating card. I saw a video on YouTube a while back and knew I wanted to make one. Then when the occasions catalog came out I fell in love with Lift Me Up and I knew that was the one I wanted to make a floating card with. Here is a picture of the cards I made.
Love it so much. As I was making this card I realized what an improvement in my quality of cards since I became a Stampin Up Demonstrator and have been using Stampin Up products. I think the biggest WoW factor has been the coordination of everything. I mean the quality of the paper has been a factor too but I have been making cards for many years with craft store products. I always thought they were great, and they really were, but now they are top notch. Here is a list of all the products I used to make this card. Everything was from Stampin Up except for the fishing line I used to make the Hot Air Balloon float.
Don’t forget guys about my current Card Club which uses this set. I really love this set it’s so cute. If you want to get all the details about my Card Club then just click on the Card Club link up at the top of my website. I also made a video showing you how to make a floating card. Here is the video: Happy Thursday!!!!
Hi, Guys!!! Happy Tuesday!!!! Happy Valentines Day!!! I hope everyone has had a great day! I had a great day. I was busy last night getting the rest of the goodie bags together and the goodies for the teachers and bus driver. My boys have different bus drivers at night and in the morning. They are all great, but the morning bus driver is exceptional. She goes out of her way to make sure all the kids on her bus feel special. I try to do little things for her all year round. At the end of the school year, we make sure both the bus drivers get something. So here is what I made the teachers and bus driver.
I wrapped Dove chocolate bars with red cardstock and used the sealed with love Stamp set and the Layering Circle Framelits. I used the Blushing bride Glimmer paper. I purchased some Ribbon on the clearance rack from Stampin Up to wrap around the white band. The top goodie bags was made with real red cardstock and sending love Designer series paper. I used the Lovenotes framelits dies and velum paper. The goodie bags are from Stampin Up the 2×8 bags. Here are the goodie bags I made for my oldest son who is in 7th grade. I made 30 of theses.
These were pretty simple and my son made a request “please don’t make them cute, mom” Lol. I am just so happy he still wants me to make them. My little guy asked me to make a card for his teacher because he wanted to write her something special. So here is the card I made for her
I had way too much fun getting crafty with the Sealed with love bundle set. I’m gonna miss making Valentine’s stuff. I’m sure I will be using this set throughout the year. My kids requested pancakes for dinner tonight so I made them pink heart shaped ones. Who else has breakfast for dinner sometimes? I love breakfast for dinner.
Well, I hope you guys had a great day. Don’t forget about my current Card Club. All the information is listed at the top of my website under Card Club. Happy Tuesday!!!
Hi, Guys, Happy Sunday!!! I hope you all are enjoying your day. It is snowing and expected to snow all day here. Here is the view from my craft room window.
It’s such a cold wintery day here. It’s a perfect day to stay in my craft room all day. I need to just get this room of mine organized. I am spending the day working on this. I have too much stuff and it’s so hard to get any work done when you’re not organized and you can not find stuff you know you have. They say less is more so I am going to put that saying to the test. I have way too much paper so that’s the first that is going. I love that I have decided to venture into going into business and working for Stampin Up. It has really made me craft more and come outside my comfort zone. I am loving doing what I am doing right now. I was craving something more and I found it. I love being a stay at home mom and that was always what I wanted. I am so lucky to have the choice to be a stay at home mom/wife. I decided that I do not want this to be work but to be fun so that’s how I am treating it. I will have in home parties if people want them but I would much prefer doing everything online. I want to build up my customers and build up a team. I have so many ideas. There are Demonstrators in my area, I have actually reached out to one that I found on the Stampin Up website and she never reached back to me. The only thing I ever heard from her was I received a mini Stampin Up catalog and that was it. No letter, no reach out at all. I don’t want that. I was following a Demonstrator online for many years. She was not a Stampin Up demonstrator at the time I started following her. She was doing a lot of Cricut Crafts and then started her own line of stamps and eventually went to Stampin Up. I chose her because I felt like I had more of a connection with her over 2,000 miles away then with any Demonstrators in my area. She always reached out with any order I would make with her. Any questions I had she always answered. So that is what I want to give to my customers, and team members. I want that personal connection so I can help in any crafting needs they may have. So here are some of the cards I have made in the last few days.
I love how these all turned out. The Coordinating papers, inks, dies, ribbons, and stamps all make a huge difference in the outcome of your crafts. I also made my son’s goodie bags. I always make goodie bags for my boys for their classmates and friends for most holidays. My oldest is in 7th grade and he still wants them, all his friends and kids in class ask if his mom will be making them. I love this so much. My little guy love elephants so I try to incorporate some elephant in his goodie bags. Here is what I came up with for his.
Not all stuff used was Stampin Up products. The kids only really care about the candy in the bag so I try not to go too crazy with the design. I try to keep it simple and the paper I use is the lower quality paper at the craft store. I will save Stampin Up card stock for family, friends, customers, etc… I made a video on my process on how I make the goodie bags which I will link at the end of this post. I still need to make bags for my oldest and a little something for their teachers and bus drivers. Don’t forget guys about my Card Club. It is something I will be doing every month with different card designs. I am pretty excited about it. I hope you guys take advantage of it. Don’t forget that Sale-A-Bration is still going on right now through March 31, 2017. When you spend $50.00 pre-tax, pre-shipping you will earn a free product from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. If you want any of the current catalogs shipped out to you just let me know and I will send you them free anywhere in the US. There is also a copy of the catalogs at the top right-hand side of my website. Happy Wednesday!!!
Hi, Guys!!!! Happy Wednesday!! I hope you guys are enjoying your day! What a difference it makes when you feel like normal. I finally am getting back to my groove, still, have a slight cough but my energy level is back thank goodness. I am trying to catch up on housework and work on projects too. I finally was able to clean the front of my refrigerator today
It’s so funny how this is such a huge accomplishment for me. Does anyone else feel the same? We upgraded our refrigerator about 3 years ago and I love it. It’s so much bigger than our older one but sometimes I find I still need more room. lol, I have two boys 8 and 12 and I can not keep the outside clean or the inside filled. I don’t know how moms do it with more than 2 kids and a full-time job. I feel like I do not have enough time to get things accomplished now. I remember working full time when my oldest was little and I hated it for one, and two I felt like I couldn’t get anything done and thought if only I could be a stay at home mommy I will have a spotless house and dinner on the table every night. Ha I laugh now! I am so lucky that my husband has a good job and I am lucky enough to be able to stay at home. My crafting is my escape from the daily grind of life. I am so happy when I am creating. I was able to make a few cards yesterday. I recently purchased through Stampin Up the lovenotes thinlits. I already had the Sealed with Love stamp set. I love this combo set. The love notes thinlit dies are currently on back order with an estimated availability date of February 27. I can see so many things I will use this with beyond valentines day. You need to think outside the box to find the full potential of something lol. I am going to use this to make my kids goodie bags for valentines day. Here are the cards I made yesterday
These are A2 cards (4 1/4 by 5 1/2) The top one used Real Red as the card base, pool party card stock cut at 4 x 5 1/4 then I ran it in the big shot machine with the 3d card heart edge. I used the Sending Love designer series paper cut at 2 1/2 x 5 I cut out the heart from pool party and the arrow was the Gold foil sheet. I had a little scrap of that and I ran it in the falling petals folder. The stitched square is from the stitched shape framlit dies, it is the second to smallest square. I used vellum for the envelope which is in the love notes dies. I used the Sending love paper for the envelope lid. I used whisper white to cut out the little note and stamped it with Real Red. The second card used Black cardstock cut at 5 1/4 x 4 and 4 3/4 x 3 1/2. Real Red cardstock was used for the card base and one was used as a layer which was cut at 5 x 3 3/4. The strips were cut out at 1 x 4 1/2 and the Sending Love designer paper was used. I used a white gel pen to hand draw all the stitching and I cut another envelope using vellum. I used whisper white to cut the little note and used Real Red ink to stamp the note. I love how these turned out and I want to keep making cards with this set and paper. Dont forget about my Card Club for the month of February. I have not had anyone take advantage of my free card kit yet. Will you be the first one?? I really want to mail these out to someone!! Please let me know what you think of my Card Club. Happy Wednesday!!!!
Hi, Guys, Happy Sunday!! Hope you had a great Sunday. I am finally feeling like me again. This cold has been awful and I have been fighting it for a week. It drained all my energy and I am just so glad it has just about left me. I was able to be a bit crafty this weekend. I made a few cards
I also made an interactive rotating wheel card. It turned out so neat. I watched a video on youtube on how to make it. It was a good video and I knew I had to make one too. I will leave the link to my youtube video at the end of this blog
I love this card its so stinking cute and I love how the wheel spins and puts different stamped images in the truck window. I love making cards that have moveable parts or different folds. I used Tasty Trucks Stamp Set, Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon, and Whisper White Cardstock, Basic Black Inkpad, Many Marvelous Markers, Fast Fuse Adhesive, Dimensionals, a Brad, and an Exacto knife. Don’t forget guys when you order $32 pre-tax, pre shipping, use my current Host Code CGUQEJ9W, and leave your contact info when you place an order and you are in the US then you will get a card kit mailed in the mail from me for free. I have all the details in the Card Club at the upper top left-hand side of my blog. I hope you guys take advantage of my Card Club and Sale-A-Brations. Happy Sunday!!
