Mickey Mouse Crafts.

Hi, Guys!!
Happy Monday!!  How was your Monday?  I was able to accomplish a lot today.  My energy is finally back and my voice is almost there.  I got a lot of housework done and then I was able to play in my craft room.  I have a friend who asked if I could make a Mickey Mouse banner for the high chair and a big ONE.  So if you know me you know that I am a little obessessed with Mickey Mouse.  I have loved that mouse since I was a little girl.  My dream was always to go to Disney World.  I finally made it there in January 2000.  My husband who was my boyfriend at the time and our best friends went down to Florida for a week.  In front of Cinderella’s castle our last night there my now husband proposed to me.  Talk about romantic, that was my dream since I was a little girl to be proposed to in front of Cinderella’s castle.  So I am even more in love with that Mouse.  So, of course, I said I would make Mickey Mouse Decorations.

I used my Cricut Explore to do all the hard work.  I love that machine so much.  I have made so many things with it.  I also pulled out my 1st Disney Scrapbook.  It was when I was really new to scrapbooking so it is pretty lame.  I thought it was the best at the time.

Ha, I love looking at my older scrapbooks.  It’s crazy to see how little I knew about paper crafting and it’s crazy to see how far I have come.  I have learned so much over the years and mostly it was just going on youtube and following a few crafters over the years that I have learned a lot from.  Here are some pictures of our first trip back with our boys.  It was their the first trip and it was so much fun.  As you grow older you really look forward to seeing your children’s joy when going places.  I love seeing their first reactions to Walt Disney World.  I love scrapbooking and I am so far behind.

I love being in my craftroom just able to get away in my own little world and craft.  It’s my passion and I hope you guys all have found your passion in life.  It makes a world of difference when you are able to do the things you love to do.  I am there, at that spot.  I truely love what I do and would not trade it for the world.  As you all know I recently became a Stampin Up Demonstrator and It has been the best decision ever.  I went in with just being a Hobby Demo but the more and more that I talk to people who say they cant craft and it’s not for them I decided that I needed to help people.  I want them to be as excited about crafting as me.  I also want them to start off right.  I started with Stampin Up and loved it, then my Demonstrator quit and I had no one to buy from.My kids were just babies and I did not have the time to craft.   I got out of it and said I will just buy my stuff at the craft stores.   Yes you can buy your crafts their.  I find that the stamps they sell are not as clear and the images do not stamp as well as stampin up stamps.  The paper, inks, markers, ribbons do not match.  The quality of all these products are just not there like they are with Stampin Up.  You can try to get close colors but it will not cordinate like it will with Stampin Up.  I am putting together a Card Club and it will start Febuary 1st.  There will be no commitments just sign up in what ever months work for you.  I will get all the details to you by Wednesday and I’m pretty excited about it.  Ive been brainstorming alot over the past few months and hopefully you guys will like it.   Happy Monday!!

Tasty Trucks Winner and Calendar Pictures!

Hi, Guys,
Happy Sunday!!  Hope everyone had a great Sunday!!  I am still getting over a cold so I was moving very slowly today.  I have lost my voice, which my kids are enjoying and probably my husband too!  I finally picked a random winner for the Tasty Trucks giveaway and that winner is Angela Leuenberger.  Yay!!!  Congrats.  Please contact me with your address or leave me your email address on this blog post so I can contact you.  I will mail your Stamp Set right out!  Giveaways are so much fun!!  I hope you guys all share when I have one.  Anyone that is following my blog automatically gets an entry or 2 or 3 what ever I choose but you will automatically get at least 1 entry in any future giveaways if you already follow me.   Yay, what an incentive to follow my blog!!
I finally finished my Calendar for my sister in law that was supposed to be a Christmas present!  Oh well, she understands and looks forward to it every year.  I blocked out the faces of the kids so you can see the pages.  It is not my best I was in a hurry and I usually put a lot more detail on them.  I really wanted her to have it before the year was over lol.  😀  I love that I used my Cricut and Stampin Up together.  I have so much paper other than Stampin Up so I used mostly that.  I wish I did not become such a paper hoarder because I want all Stampin Up paper.  It really is such high-quality paper compared to the craft store and Stampin Up coordinates.  I have been crafting for many years and It amazes me how quickly I can put a card or scrapbook page together with only Stampin Up stuff.  I have lots of tools other than Stampin Up and lots and lots of paper other than Stampin Up and it takes me forever to find the right paper, then try to match the ink and then find a stamp set.  That is one of the most frustrating parts of crafting for me.  Stampin Up makes it so easy.
So here are the pictures of the calendar.  I am going to start my calendar earlier this year.

The last page I left blank because I did not have a Santa Picture.  It will fit a 5×7 picture.  I hope you guys enjoyed my pictures.  Happy Sunday!!

Calendar Pictures

Hi, Guys,
Happy Friday!!!  Hope your Friday was good.  I was sick last night, had a sore throat and my head felt like it was going to explode.  When I woke this morning I lost my voice.  After I got the kids on the bus I went back to sleep and woke up around lunch time. I felt much better but still no voice.  My kids love it because I can not yell at them.  lol,  I finally had my husband home (he has been working since Monday only coming home to sleep for a few hours and then going back to work) and we were not able to talk.  I am sure he was ok with that too. 😃😃  I worked on my sister in laws calendar today and completed three months.  I used my Cricut which I have not used since Christmas.  I love my Cricut.  I am planning on finishing the calendar tomorrow because they are watching my boys for me and my husband.  My husbands work Christmas party is tomorrow night.  Yes, I did say Christmas Party.  They have it late in January then everyone can usually attend.  When it was in December a lot of people could not go because of other engagements.  So my goal is to get it done.  Here is what I have done so far.

I used the ink pads to block out the faces of my niece and nephew.  Nice product placement right?  ha
I used adhesive foil for the red hearts and cut them on the Cricut.  I love how awesome it looks.  I cut a heart out with my big shot and a heart thinlit and it worked great.  I have the love notes framelits coming in the mail so I can’t wait to use them with this foil adhesive.
I also put together my customer thank you cards and mailed them out today.  I love having customers.  I love to make cards and packages together for them.  I hope I get to put together lots and lots of these cards and packages together in the upcoming months!!  Now is one of the best times to buy while Sale-A-Bration is going on.  Free products and if you sign up to be a demonstrator you get $125 worth of stuff you pick out for $99 plus 2 free Sale-A-Bration items!!!  That’s fantastic deal guys.  Plus you get to be on my team plus the team of Pink Stampers.  We have all kinds of fun things on our team page.  It’s the best.  So I really hope if you are thinking of being a demonstrator you should just do it.  Plus you do not need to meet your quarterly minimum until June.
Well, it is getting late and it’s almost Saturday so I must get to bed.  I will post some more calendar pictures tomorrow,  Happy Friday!!!!

Tasty Trucks Slider Card

Hi, Guys!!!Happy Wednesday Everyone!!  Have you been enjoying your Wednesday?  I know I have.  I have been working on lots today.  The kids had a snow day yesterday didn’t get half of what I wanted to accomplished.  Today I put a bunch of hours into my business and got some Thank you cards made for my customers.  That’s one of the best things I get to do is make sure I take care of all my customers.  I am hoping this year to gain a bunch of customers and I am hoping to have some sign up as demonstrators under me.  My biggest goal is hoping a lot of people learn some crafty things from me and are able to get into their own crafty thing.  It’s such a stress relief to get in my craft room and just create and not think about anything but the project on am working on.
I made a couple of  cute little slider cards with the Tasty Trucks Stamp set and The Sealed with Love set.

They are cute right??  Oh my I had fun making these.  I thought after I stamped love you lots that I should of pulled the tab and had the truck up front and then stamped love you lots behind the truck.  Of course I made a video showing you exactly how I made it and I will link the video at the end of this post.  Don’t forget to enter the giveaway.  I’m going to keep it going for a few more days.  I have a few entries but would love more so please enter.  You need to comment on the Tasty Trucks Giveaway blog post or on the YouTube video with the giveaway here.
I still have not started on my sister in laws calendar.  This is the latest I have ever been with it.  I just need to make time for it and I promise I will post pictures.  I enjoy making these alot.
I am enjoying being a Stampin Up demonstrator.  I love the team of Pink Stampers that I am on. They are so very helpful and my Upline has a business facebook page for everyone who wants to be more than a hobby demonstrator (which there is nothing wrong with a hobby demonstrator).  I love how laid back she is and helpful.  Absolutely no pressure.  Love my team.  If you ever thought of being a demonstrator its a great time during Sale-A-Bration.  You get $125 worth of stuff for $99 and you get 2 free items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  If you want to join my team and the awesome team of Pink Stampers click here.   If you have any questions please feel free to contact me anytime.  Thank you guys for all your follows and likes, I really appreciate all the support.
Here is the video I made on the Slider Card above.  Happy Wednesday!!!!!

Tasty Trucks Giveaway!!

Hi, Guys,
Happy Sunday!!  How are you guys doing?  How was your Sunday??  Mine was great.  I started my morning at my favorite class ever POUND.  Love that exercise class so much.  You get to be a rockstar with drumsticks and rock out to awesome music for an hour.  The strength I have gained from taking it is crazy.  I have never been much for exercising at a gym or taking classes.  I have tried Zumba and like it.  I have taken a few other classes like step aerobics and Cize but nothing has grabbed me like POUND.   It’s been a year and a half and I go most weeks 5/6 days.  So yeah that is the perfect way to start the day.
My boys and husband were away this weekend camping so they came back home this morning.  I had about 24 hours to myself.  It is nice but it also is lonely without them.  I was able to get some stuff done.  I made a few cards and made one more card using the Tasty Trucks stamp set, you know the one I am giving away.  What did I say??  A giveaway?  Yes, that’s right just leave a comment on this blog post for a chance to win, if you follow me you will get another chance and if you comment on my youtube video below you will get another chance.  If you already follow me you automatically get 2 entries.  So Deborah, Susan, and Trisha you guys already have entries.  Yay.  Here are the pictures of the cards I made with this set.

Aren’t they so cute?  I love this set it is so great!!  The Card stock used on these are Very Vanilla, Mint Macaroon, and Watermelon Wonder.  I also used Pops of Pink, and Tasty Treats designer series papers, Many Marvelous Markers, Enamels, Ink used were Versa Mark, and Basic Black, snail adhesive, and dimensionals.

My First Make and Take

Hi, Guys,
Happy Saturday!!!  I hope you guys have been enjoying your day!!  I had the best day.  I had my first official Stampin Up Party today at my house.  Five girls showed up and we had a good time.  We made two cards and laughed and ate food and drank cappuccinos.  It was a lot of fun and I gave away catalogs so maybe I will get another order soon.  Here are some pictures of the festivities.

I had three cards to make but we ran out of time and only made two.  We made the sending love card and birthday truck card.  The thank you card was the 3rd one and we did not have time for that, but my best friend stayed and we were able to make that card and chit chat.  Here is a picture of the cards.

These were so easy to make and are so pretty.  I love making cards so much.  So I will start on my sister in laws calendar tonight.  I really need to get that made for her before the year ends.  lol,  I also have to make a couple of Thank you packets for my customers.  Yay, I have customers!!!  That is so exciting.  I would love to send more Thank you packets in the mail so If your, not my customer Why Not??  lol, It is really the best time to order from Stampin’ Up with Sale-A-Bration going on.  All three of the cards were made with products from the occasions catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalogs.

Here is the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  This is where you will get the Tasty Trucks set for free when you spend $50.00.  It is so cute I have so many ideas with this one.  I wish I had all the time in the world to craft.  I would never leave my craft room.  If any of you guys are on the fence about joining the team of Stampin Up I will tell you, you will not regret it.  Even if you just want to be a hobby demonstrator.  You have to meet a $300 sale every three months with either your sales, or customers, or both.  I first thought there was no way I would be able to spend that but yes it’s quite easy and I stopped my trips to the craft store and just buy everything through Stampin’ Up.  It’s worth it with my 20% discount.  If you are interested please contact me or head over to my store and join my team.

I’m off to start my calendar.  I promise I will post pics.  Happy Saturday!!!

Sealed with love

Hi, Guys!!!
Happy Wednesday!  I hope you all have enjoyed your Wednesday so far.  I know I sure have.  Guess What????  I had two more Stampin’ Up online orders!!!!  yaaaaay.  Sunday afternoon my good friend placed a big order, over $150.00 and she was able to get 3 free items in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  I am so happy for her she ordered some great stuff, then today I get another online order.  This was from someone who won a giveaway on my youtube channel.  It was a few months back and I was so excited that she placed an order.  She too ordered some awesome stuff and was able to earn a free product too.  So excited for her.  She actually ordered Sealed with Love bundle set and it is so awesome.  Here is a card I made with the Sealed with Love stamp set.  It’s a gate fold card  I also made a video on how to make this card.  I will post the video at the bottom of the blog post

Don’t you just love it!!!  I just love how everything coordinates.  So I get to put together a couple customer packets now.  I am so excited!!  I also received my big order of goodies that I bought with my Christmas money!  I have not been able to play as much as I thought but it just arrived Monday.

Look at all that fun stuff.  I absolutely love the Stampin’ Up Paper Trimmer.  I have like 4 paper trimmers that I have collected over the years.  I love how the Stampin Up Trimmer is over 6 inches before you even open up the extended arm,  It has storage on the bottom and the rubber area where the blade cuts your paper comes out so you can get all the fibers and pieces of the paper out easily.
I also went way out of my comfort zone and invited people over to my house this Saturday for a Make and Take.  It’s friends and only a few but I am not one to talk in front of people.  I really want to get friends together and craft and just have a good time.  I have said for years I wish I knew someone who wanted to invite people over and just craft so I decided it was time to be that person.  I hear it all the time from people “oh I could never make that, or I am not creative.”  Yes, you are!!!  I started way back never had a craft bone in my body.  Went to my first Stampin’ Up party and fell in love.  I loved the people laughing and creating together.  The connection!!  I was hooked.  So I am excited for Saturday.  I don’t know what we will do, but I will come up with something.
So here is the list of supplies I used on my card

Big Shot vs Cuttlebug

Hi, Guys,
Happy Sunday!!!  I hope your Sunday was great.  Mine was very good but not very productive. lol 😀  I did a little bit of house work and a little bit of laundry.  My little guy and I hung out and played some and watched some TV.  He caught up on all his homework from being out of school last week.  Glad he finally caught up.  I had to make a sympathy card for a friend who just lost his father.  I hate making those cards.

The gray and the stamped image is the only thing that is not Stampin Up.  I love using the enamel shapes.  They add so much.  The heart is from the metallic enamels from Stampin up. You can order those here.  I received my Big Shot machine Friday.  It was bittersweet because my mother in law asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told her I really wanted to get my business started and would love to get a Big Shot machine.  She gave me money for Christmas to buy one and It came in on the day of her funeral service.  I will think of her every time I use my Big Shot 😭  I have a Cuttlebug and have used it for many years.  I thought well I don’t really need a Big Shot but boy what a difference in machines.  The feel is different and I really like that the Big Shot has more width and length to it.  It makes a big difference in the operation.  I’m not just saying that because I am a Stampin Up Demonstrator you really can tell a difference.  I also noticed a difference in the folders.  When using a Big Shot or Sizzix folder they emboss so much better when using either machine.  The Cuttlebug folders seem duller and the image just is not as clear when you run it through the Cuttlebug vs the Big Shot.  It’s like when watching a TV channel that is High Definition compared to a non-High Definition TV Channel.

Order here

This would be the perfect time to order one too because of Sale-A-Bration.  With every $50 spent you will receive one free product in the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  So you would get 2 with the purchase of a Big Shot.  If you brought your total up to $150 you would get 3 free items and 10 % back in rewards so you would have an additional $15 on top of that.  It is the best time to place an order and an even better time to become a demonstrator.  If you want to join one of the best teams ever just click here.  If you guys have any questions regarding any of this please contact me anytime and I will be more than happy to answer any questions.  I also made a video showcasing the Big Shot Machine vs the Cuttlebug so I will leave that right here for you.  Happy Sunday!!!

Sale-A-Bration is awesome.

Hi, Guys,
Happy Wednesday!!  Sorry, I have not blogged lately.  We had a death in the family, our beloved Nana.  My mother-in-law went with the Angels on Monday so it’s been a blur around here lately but I thought I would pop in quickly and say hi and announce the winner of the paper giveaway.  Deborah was the winner YAY!!!  I was disappointed that more did not enter, Deb was the only one so her chances were 100 percent lol.  I really wanted to give away a couple paper shares.  Oh Well, there is always next time right??  I am so excited Deb won, she is a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator like me and we are on the same team.  I connected with her through our team of Demo’s and we have become friends.  We have been helping each other with our blogs and social stuff.  I love this team because we all work with each other not against.  She had someone sign up as a Demonstrator under her and I am so happy for her.  Congrats Deb and I will be getting your paper out in the mail tomorrow if all goes well.  Here is a pic of the outside of the envelope

I love this stamp set!!  This is a free set called Hey Chick and when you spend $50 on Stampin’ Up products before tax and shipping by March 31, 2017, you too can get this stamp set for free.  Click on my link here to shop.  I will be working on a video sometime over the weekend.  I have so many creative things going on in my head right now I can’t wait to share them.
Happy Wednesday!!
